Learning for Work and LJB Engineering Awarded $4.9 Million US Navy Fall Protection Training Contract

Learning for Work (LfW), and partner LJB Engineering (LJB), are pleased to announce the award of a $4.9 million training services contract by The Naval Safety Environmental Training Center in Norfolk, Virginia. Under this five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, the LfW/LJB team will facilitate up to 50, five-day Competent Person Fall Protection training courses per year at more than 20 Navy locations across the United States and around the globe. 

This partnership merges LfW’s 20+ year history of creating training solutions for the Department of Defense with LJB’s 30+ year industry-leading fall protection expertise. “I can’t wait to collaborate with my great friends at LJB, delivering training that will ensure Navy personnel master the skills necessary to keep personnel safe while working at heights,” said Tim Azbill, LfW’s Principal Owner.

NSIC’s Mission Enabler Team was recognized as the best of more than 25 NSIC specialized teams for leading 87 graduates through NSIC’s Initial Qualification Training (IQT) and Mission Qualification Training (MQT) programs. The team simultaneously developed and launched NSIC’s first ever Apprenticeship Program, which prepares entry-level analysts with the skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to produce space and counterspace Scientific & Technical Intelligence (S&TI) products.
